Did i just ruin this date or did he?

he claims he just wants to meet new people and make new friends well he approached me gave me his number and calld me the nxt day so we go chill have fun and then asks me if i want to chill at his crib i said no its too soon he said ok and smiles we go for ice cream and i was slightly nagging him about walking in front of a lady. he huffed a lil bit about that, the date ends and he gives me a friendly hug and then he hugs me again very tightly. the whole entire time he wouldnt stop smiling at me.i get home i called him to give him adivce about his back and then i checked up on him the next morning vie text message he didnt respond, nor has he called its been two days (i know he told me he had to work) so should i just be pacient and not txt nor call him n e more. or just move on and never go out with him again/?
