Boy trouble......help?

I had a good looking ex-boyfriend get in touch with me recently... he was flirting and seemed really interested...so when he asked me out i agreed.. he said he didn't want to rush anything and that we should got out before i go on holidays im going in 5days now and hes going on holidays in 2weeks....i haven't heard of him since he asked me out and i said yes... ive txted him but he didn't txt back so i took this as im not interested but what the **** is his game he said he was excited to take me out whys he gone so strange then aargghhh makes me mad grrr
