The break pedal on my 93 Honda Civic keeps going all the way down when its pressed but car doesn't stop.?

I checked calipers, brake pads, fluid and everything looks fine. When I press the break pedal it feels normal for a split second then the pedal goes down all the way without stopping. I have no clue other than the pedal itself but I have no clue if it really is that.
