Hi, what you are looking for is the backing track to the song you want to sing. Generally the track would have the music and sometimes some backing vocals,but the melody or lead line that the singer would sing would be missing so you can sing that line. Sometimes it's better not to have any vocals on the backing track so the judges of the competition hear yours cleary. Theres a sight called cool midi which maybe useful to you. Good Luck!
