How do you make yourself cry on stage????

i have a monolouge to perform in less than a week and usually when i rehearse i get teary eyed. i connect with the character and we have so many similarities.. i have tried literally everything! will i cry when im on stage because its in the moment or will it just not happen at all? also how do i memorize my lines really well?
