How can I show him I like him?

There is a guy who goes to my church whom I've liked for a VERY long time. I've always just thought it was a little more than a crush but I went to alaska for a month this summer to visit family and when I can back to church I was at the end of my chair waiting to see him! He didnt come to cl so right before the sermon I was searching for him and I finally cought a glimpse of him and I took a sharp breath and turned around and then... I started crying. Not full on crying but tears where comming. I didn't realise I liked him that much but now I do and I know I've never felt this away about anyone before. The problem is I've never spoken to him... :l Usually I see him in cl every sunday but I never know if I should say something or what... he doesnt go to my school and he lives in the next town over. I just found out that he is in fact single but... I dont know. I'm not skinny and I have big hips but my face is very pretty and I have really good hair (im not trying to sound conceated) and my friends tell me all the time how stupid he would be to not like me but I just can't agree. Is there any way that I can try and hint to him how much I like him without being super creepy? And what if he's repulsed by me! I just don't know but what I do know is I need help!
